It is with great pride to receive an award that represents 25 years of EIS (Enterprise Investment Scheme). It is also very pleasing that a company so focused on regional growth and job creation has been successful.

Acceleris, since incorporation, have stuck to the key premise of EIS; to develop and commercialise new technologies, to support young entrepreneurs and to encourage innovation.

The business model Acceleris has created brings investor and investee closer together, giving the investor chance to meet the investee companies and the people who run them.

The portfolio of high net worth individuals ( HNWIs) are part of a network of sophisticated individuals with track records of building and growing businesses from start-ups, established mature businesses to multinational companies. The strengths of Acceleris are clearly evident from its track record over the last 18 years. With over 120 million of seed capital raised, exits culminating in an average return of 7x, with 60% of the businesses still increasing value.

Looking forwards, Acceleris hope the market can work together closely to utilise EIS properly, drive innovation and achieve the global companies this country deserves. An appreciate of risk, a respect of each other and open attitude to venture will drive the scale we hope to achieve.

A special mention must be reserved for the Enterprise Investment Scheme Association (EISA). We are proud to work closely with this organisation who continue to work on our behalf to maintain fairness in the market and drive education.
